Hardware

MacBook Pro 14" (Nov 2024)
I get asked "why only 14 inches and not anything bigger?" It's all about portability. I'd rather a smaller, lighter bag with a smaller screen than a heavier, larger one for a 16".

Figma
Tools do not make the designer. I use Figma because everyone else does, but I'm not the biggest fan — it pushes people to be pixel-perfect and hi-definition out of the gate with wireframes and comps.
An actual whiteboard
Miro if it needs to happen online, but the physical whiteboard is less distracting than a screen.
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
While I've relied on Figma's prototyping tools, of late I build prototypes directly in code, with some assist from LLMs.
